While I was in Florida I decided to check out the Kennedy Space Center.  I had to pay $7.00 in tolls to get there.  Having never been on toll roads before, this was quite an experience.

Are you ready to go inside?

The lunar module.  I had heard so much about this thing but had never actually seen it.  Of course this was just a model.  Do you suppose they will have a museum like this for the F-14?

They actually gave Grumman credit!

Unfortunately, I didn't have Steve or Ted around to give me the run down on all of this stuff.  I just looked at it all and stared in amazement.

One thing that really caught my eye was how big this stuff is.  Can you believe we really got it into space?

Speaking of big, these boosters were HUGE!

They really look like something from outer space!

This guy reminded me of Edward Scissorhands...

They had this mockup of the shuttle there that you could actually go inside.

It was a fascinating trip.  I am glad I took the time to see it.
